Alfie has come a long way in the past month! He’s now crawling (strong and quick), pulling himself to stand, climbing up stairs, kneeling, shaking his head ‘no’, and waving. He is showing interest in things with wheels and likes to make them move and chase behind them. One of his favourite routes is climbing up the stairs, crawling down the hall, and pulling himself to stand at Emilia’s bedside. Alfie also loves to mimic the sounds and actions of others, especially Emilia 🥰
At 9 months, Alfie is so curious about his world. When he’s not crawling/army crawling, he’s throwing himself into your arms and kicking his feet, propelling you into the direction he wants to go. He’s got movement on his mind! Alfie is now clapping 👏 and saying a few meaningful words (mama, dada, baba). His favourite book is Where’s Spot – he loves to lift the flaps and especially loves the monkey page. He’s working on waving, crawling up stairs, and pulling himself up to stand on his own.
